Receiving Clerk, USA

The Hilton Orlando Buena Vista Palace team are looking for a full-time receiving clerk to join their team. This is a fabulous location which features a Skybridge that provides direct access to Disney Springs with a continuous shuttle service to the four Disney Theme Parks. If you are interested in this position, they invite you to apply.

Responsibilities of Job:

  • Essential Functions;
    • Average Percent of Time
      • 50 % Enters all non-edible merchandise into the computer, nothing the received status shortages and all the other required information so all merchandise is accounted for. Prepares all outgoing records.
      • 20% Notifies person responsible for ordering merchandise when shipment arrives or if the shipment fails to arrive so that any discrepancies can be resolved. Signs, dates and time stamps all invoices on the respective receiving sheet, ensuring times are correctly identified. 
      • 10% Checks each item on the invoice against the applicable hotel document, weighing, counting, verifying prices on each item and checking these against specifications to verify accuracy of delivery. 
      • 5% Assists in the daily operation of the food storeroom, properly stores and rotates all stock so that all items and fresh; involves transportation of heavy goods. 
      • 5% Fill Requisitions to authorize outlets so all stock will be complete at each outlet and advises supervisor of items that are low or out-of-stock so they can be reordered. 
      • 5% Assists in conducting month- end inventories. 
  • Performs any general cleaning tasks using standard hotel cleaning products as assigned to adhere to health standards.
  • Performs other duties as requested such as cleaning up spills or special customer requests.
