We’re seeking responsible and vigilant Security Guards to help maintain a safe and secure environment within Sunway Pyramid Shopping Mall and its surrounding areas. This role is key to ensuring public safety, emergency preparedness, and incident response. If you’re disciplined, alert, and a strong team player, this may be the perfect opportunity for you.
Key Responsibilities:
- Patrol the mall premises and surrounding areas to ensure safety and order
- Monitor live CCTV footage for any unusual or suspicious activity
- Conduct safety checks and implement security protocols as required
- Assist in executing emergency response plans when necessary
- Carry out preliminary investigations for security breaches or incidents
- Support in handling disciplinary actions related to staff misconduct
- Report any suspected or actual data security breaches promptly to the Information Manager
Job Requirements:
- Minimum qualification: SPM/O-Level with at least 5 credits (Bahasa Malaysia, English, Mathematics, History, Science)
- Open to fresh graduates; 1+ year of experience in security operations is an added advantage
- Able to communicate clearly in Bahasa Malaysia and English; knowledge of additional languages is a plus
- Must be a team player with a responsible and proactive attitude
- Willing to work shifts, weekends, and public holidays (6-day work week)
- Willing to be based at Sunway Pyramid, Bandar Sunway
