Cashier (position for School Year 2024-2025)

Taipei American School is looking for a cafeteria cashier (position for School Year 2024-2025) in their school. The cafeteria cashier for the school year 2024-2025 is responsible for handling transactions in the school cafeteria, including collecting payments from students and staff, operating cash registers, and providing excellent customer service. The cashier must accurately process transactions, maintain a clean and organized workspace, and adhere to all school policies and procedures. Additionally, the cashier may assist with other cafeteria duties as needed, such as restocking food items and assisting with meal preparation. Key Responsibilities of Cafeteria Cashier:

• Receive and reconcile daily payments and deposits to ensure the balance of credit totals and debit.
• Safeguard petty cash to ensure onsite cash is kept in a secure area.
• Greet students, faculty, and visitors in a friendly and welcoming manner
• Operate cash register and handle cash transactions accurately
• Process payments using cash, credit, or debit cards
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of the cashier area
• Assist with stocking and replenishing food and beverage items as needed.
• Follow all food safety and sanitation guidelines.
• Keep good relationships with customers (TAS parents, faculties, and staffs).

Requirements for Cafeteria Cashier:

• College Graduate
• Intermediate level of English, and Mandarin fluency
• Three years of relevant experience
• Basic accounting Knowledge
• Prompt and friendly customer service
• Computer skill
• Communication skills & Problem-solving skills
