Cleaner Job at RSL LifeCare in Australia

RSL LifeCare is looking for an energetic and motivated individual to work as a cleaner, who would love to make a difference in the lives of veterans and aged care residents at our74-bed aged care home – Mark Donaldson House, Galston 2159, NSW (Near the Hills District). The position is available for a competent person to clean common areas of the aged care facility as per the schedule and as required. Duties include vacuuming, dusting, Cobb webbing, washroom hygiene, replenishing paper stock as required, and stock control – including cleaning showers and toilets and taking out and bringing in garbage bins.

Responsibilities of Cleaner Job:

• Clean and sanitize resident rooms, common areas, and office spaces.
• Sweep, mop, vacuum, and/or scrub floors as needed.
• Dust and wipe down surfaces, including furniture and fixtures.
• Empty trash bins and replace liners.
• Restock cleaning supplies and notify supervisor when supplies are low.
• Follow all health and safety guidelines and procedures!
• Report any maintenance issues or safety hazards to the supervisor.

Requirements for Cleaner Job:

• Have experience in cleaning; aged care cleaning experience is desirable but not necessary.
• Follow the Occupational Health and Safety Policy within the organization by maintaining a safe and clean environment for residents, staff, and visitors.
• Adhere to all organizational policies and procedures.
• Have a positive outlook and enjoy working co-operatively in a team.
• Want to make a difference and contribute to the wellbeing of others.
• Willing to undergo NDIS Workers Screening check.
