Key Responsibilities of Domestic Assistant:

• Provide high-quality cleaning services, including dusting, vacuuming, mopping, and cleaning bathrooms and kitchens.
• Assist with laundry tasks, including washing, drying, folding, and ironing clothes and linens.
• Help with meal preparation and kitchen clean-up.
• Perform other household tasks as required, such as changing bed linen and organizing closets.
• Provide companionship and emotional support to clients.
• Report any concerns or changes in clients’ health or well-being to the supervisor.

Requirements for Domestic Assistant:

• Previous experience in cleaning and housekeeping, preferably in an aged care or community setting.
• Compassionate and caring attitude.
• Ability to work independently and follow instructions.
• Strong attention to detail.
• Good communication skills.
• Valid driver’s license and access to a reliable vehicle (preferred).

Working Conditions:

• This position involves traveling to clients’ homes, so a valid driver’s license and access to a reliable vehicle are preferred.
• Must be willing to undergo a police check and provide a valid Working with Children Check (if required).
