Responsibilities of Cleaner:

• Receive, document, and separate soiled linens, terry, uniforms, and/or clothing.
• Identify stained or damaged items.
• Operate and monitor washing, dry cleaning, and drying machinery, including adding chemicals, and cleaning lint traps.
• Apply treatment to stained items.
• Press and fold cleaned articles.
• Hand wash garments.
• Respond to guest requests for laundry/dry cleaning, minor repair, and pressing.
• Maintain records of laundered items and uniforms distributed and returned.
• Deliver laundry/dry cleaning to guests and employees.
• Follow all company and safety and security policies and procedures; report any maintenance problems, safety hazards, accidents, or injuries; complete safety training and certifications.
• Ensure uniform and personal appearance are clean and professional; maintain confidentiality of proprietary information; protect company assets.
• Welcome and acknowledge all guests according to company standards; anticipate and address guests’ service needs; thank guests with genuine appreciation.
• Speak with others using clear and professional language; answer telephones using appropriate etiquette.
• Develop and maintain positive working relationships with others; listen and respond appropriately to the concerns of other employees.

Eligibility Criteria for Cleaner:

1. Experience: Previous experience in a similar role within the hospitality industry or as a professional dry cleaner is often preferred.
2. Skills: Strong knowledge of garment care, fabric types, and dry cleaning techniques. Familiarity with the operation of dry cleaning equipment is essential.
3. Attention to Detail: Exceptional attention to detail to ensure garments are cleaned and presented to the highest standards.
