Farm Harvester Machine Operator

Dhaliwal & Sandhu farms is responsible for supporting and promoting the agriculture industry in Canada. They are currently seeking a skilled and experienced farm harvester machine operator to assist with harvesting operations on government-owned agricultural lands.

Position Overview:

The farm harvest machine operator will be responsible for operating and maintaining harvesting equipment to ensure the efficient and timely harvesting of crops. The successful candidate will work closely with other farm workers and follow all safety protocols and regulations.

Key Responsibilities:

• Operate and maintain farm machinery and equipment, including harvesters, tractors, and trucks
• Harvest crops according to established procedures and schedules
• Monitor crop health and report any issues to farm management
• Maintain accurate records of harvesting activities!
• Follow all safety protocols and regulations!
• Assist with other farm duties as assigned

Requirements:

• Minimum of 3 years of experience operating farm machinery, preferably in a harvesting role
• Knowledge of agricultural practices and techniques
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Excellent communication skills
• Valid driver’s license
• Ability to lift heavy objects and work in various weather conditions
