RESPONSIBILITIES

• Perform general cleaning duties such as sweeping, dusting, mopping, and vacuuming floors and surfaces
• Assist with laundry services, including washing, drying, folding clothes, and make sure that residents clothes are returned to them in a timely manner and laundry is complete on schedule
• Must follow infection control policies to ensurea safe/healthy environment for staff
• Report maintenance issues to the supervisor such as broken equipment or facility repairs
• Participate in staff training on infection control, workplace health and safety, and other related topics

REQUIREMENTS

• No formal education or qualifications are required for this job, but some employers may prefer candidates with previous experience in housekeeping or cleaning roles
• Good attention to detail and the ability to work independently
• Physical fitness and the ability to perform repetitive tasks for extended periods of time
