Lower School General Assistant in Taiwan

Taipei American School is seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic lower school general assistant to join their team. The ideal candidate will assist in maintaining a safe and clean environment for students, teachers, and staff. The lower school general assistant will report to the Head of Lower School and will be responsible for a variety of tasks to support the smooth operation of the lower school division.

Responsibilities:

• Assist in maintaining a clean and organized classroom environment
• Assist teachers in preparing materials for lessons and activities
• Monitor students during recess and other activities
• Help students with basic needs, such as using the restroom and getting to and from classes
• Assist with administrative tasks as needed.

Qualifications:

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Previous experience working with children preferred
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Fluent in Mandarin Chinese; proficiency in English is a plus
