RESPONSIBILITIES

• Promote healthy growth of the plants and improve their appearance by pruning and trimming, this include shaping the plant and maintaining size.
• Preparing the soil, planting the seedings, and watering them regularly until they are established.
• Water the plants in the nursery using hoses, watering cans, or irrigation systems.
• Follow guidelines provided by the nursery Manager and fertilize plants in the nursery.
• Maintain records of plant growth and health

REQUIREMENTS

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Previous experince working in a nursery or landscaping industry is preferred
• Knowledge of plant care and maintenance techniques
• Ability to lift and move heavy objects, up to 50 lbs.
• Strong communication and customer service skills.
