Picker / Packer Neat Meat

Established for 23 years, Neat Meat is an NZ business providing high quality and ethically farmed meat cuts to NZ’s finest restaurants, hotels and retail outlets.  We are seeking an experienced Picker / Packer to join our Dispatch team in Mt Wellington, Auckland. This is a fantastic opportunity for a quality-focused person to grow and learn new skills within a fun and supportive team.

Responsibilities: 

• Accurately pick product to meet customer orders 
• Key in orders with correct weight and quantity
• Manifest orders to correct freight schedule 
• Pack orders and ensure they are loaded on trucks within timeframes 

Requirements:

Applicants should have previous picker / packer experience, be comfortable working with meat in a chilled environment, be quality-focused and have excellent communication and teamwork skills.

Hours:

This is a permanent full-time role, from Monday to Friday. The shift starts at 5.00am and would normally finish at 1.30pm, but has variable finish times depending on production demands. The successful applicant will need to be available to work additional hours when required.
