Security Officer at Certis Security in Australia

Certis Security Australia is seeking a qualified and experienced security officer rail safety worker to join their team in Western Australia. The security officer will be responsible for ensuring the safety and security of railway facilities, passengers, and staff. Key responsibilities include conducting patrols, monitoring CCTV cameras, responding to incidents, and enforcing safety regulations. The ideal candidate will have previous experience in a similar role, a valid Rail Safety Worker card, and excellent communication skills. Key Responsibilities of Security Officer:

• Conduct patrols of railway facilities to ensure security and safety!
• Monitor CCTV cameras and alarm systems.
• Respond to incidents and emergencies in a timely and effective manner!
• Enforce safety regulations and company policies.
• Complete accurate and detailed reports of incidents and activities
• Liaise with railway staff, passengers, and emergency services as required!
• Maintain a professional and courteous manner at all times.

Qualifications and Experience for Security Officer:

• Valid Rail Safety Worker card
• Previous experience in a security or law enforcement role
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail
• Physical fitness and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
• Flexibility to work shifts, including nights, weekends, and holidays.
• Current QLD Security License with Crowd control attached to the license.
• Queensland Driver’s License
• Current first aid qualification.
• Previous experience in a similar role would be highly desirable.
