Storekeeper / Warehouse Assistant- IMMEDIATE

They are currently seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented storekeeper / warehouse assistant to join their dynamic team and help ensure the efficient operation of our warehouse. As a storekeeper / warehouse assistant, selected candidate will play a crucial role in maintaining an organized and efficient warehouse. Responsibilities:

• Receive and verify the accuracy of incoming goods with proper care
• Sort and place materials on racks, shelves, or in bins according to pre-determined sequence such as index, product code or SKU
• Pick goods accurately to be sent to CS, QC, Lab based on sales orders in an efficient, effective and timely manner
• Re-packing goods for distribution market and make the packing list
• Ensure that goods received are in good condition; report discrepancies should there be irregularities
• Ensure goods are stored according to respective racks for smooth handling/good housekeeping in line with safety standards
• Maintain accurate inventory records through the use of a computerized inventory system.
• Data processing of customer orders into the system
• Perform random / perpetual stock take on goods where applicable.
• Ensure punctuality and good attendance at work.
• Work with respect and teamwork amongst customers, co-workers and supervisors.
• Keep the store clean and organized.
• Adhere to all policies and procedures of the Company and Store

Requirements:

• Minimum GCE ‘N’ /’O’ Level or NITEC/NTC certification
• Min 1 to 2 years of working experience in store/warehouse preferably in the Ophthalmic industry (not a must)
• Good interpersonal skills and communication skills
• A good team player
• Basic computer knowledge in Microsoft Office (Word & Excel)
