Tail Gate Driver Job in Canada

Cascades is currently looking for a tail gate driver to join their driver’s team in Canada. As a tail gate diver, selected candidate will be responsible for transporting goods and materials between locations using a specialized vehicle with a tailgate lift. Your primary duty will be to ensure the safe and timely delivery of goods while maintaining a high level of customer service. Key Responsibilities:

• Safely operate a tailgate-equipped vehicle to transport goods and materials to designated locations.
• Load and unload goods using the tailgate lift, ensuring proper handling and securing of items.
• Perform pre-trip and post-trip inspections of the vehicle to ensure safety and compliance with regulations.
• Maintain accurate records of deliveries, including time, mileage, and any incidents that occur.
• Provide excellent customer service, including handling inquiries and resolving issues professionally.
• Adhere to all traffic laws and regulations, as well as company policies and procedures.

Requirements for Job:

• Valid Class 5 driver’s license with a clean driving record.
• Experience operating a tailgate-equipped vehicle is preferred.
• Strong communication and customer service skills.
• Ability to lift heavy objects and work in various weather conditions.
• Knowledge of local roads and routes is an asset.
• Ability to work independently and manage time effectively.
