Key Responsibilities
🔹 Diagnose & Repair – Inspect, test, and repair vehicle systems, brakes, fuel systems, engines, and transmissions.
🔹 Preventative Maintenance – Conduct regular servicing and ensure vehicle safety.
🔹 Use Diagnostic Equipment – Operate electronic testing tools to troubleshoot and fix issues.
🔹 Communicate with Service Advisors – Work closely with the Parts & Service team to coordinate repairs.
🔹 Complete Work Orders – Accurately document all repairs & services performed.
🔹 Stay Updated on OEM Bulletins – Participate in factory-sponsored training programs to enhance your skills.
🔹 Mentor Apprentices – Support and guide junior technicians to ensure quality standards.
What We’re Looking For
✔️ 3rd or 4th Year Apprentice or Journeyman Automotive Technician.
✔️ Red Seal Certification (Preferred but not required).
✔️ Strong knowledge of various makes & models.
✔️ Ability to read & interpret shop manuals and diagnostic reports.
✔️ Excellent problem-solving & organizational skills.
✔️ Strong teamwork & communication skills.
✔️ Valid driver’s license & a clean driving record.
Work Environment & Physical Demands
🔹 Fast-paced automotive shop – Work with state-of-the-art tools & equipment.
🔹 Standing, bending, lifting (up to 50 lbs), and operating tools daily.
🔹 Hands-on, detail-oriented work – Ensuring customer satisfaction with every repair.
