Key Responsibilities of Cleaner:

• Perform cleaning duties such as sweeping, mopping, vacuuming, and dusting.
• Clean and sanitize restrooms, including toilets, sinks, and floors.
• Empty trash receptacles and transport waste to disposal area.
• Clean windows, glass partitions, and mirrors.
• Restock supplies such as toilet paper, soap, and paper towels.
• Follow all health and safety regulations and company policies.
• Report any maintenance or repair needs to the supervisor.
• As a cleaner with the Tasmanian Government, selected candidate will play a crucial role in maintaining cleanliness and hygiene standards in government facilities, ensuring a safe and pleasant environment for employees and visitors.

Requirements for Cleaner:

• Previous cleaning experience preferred.
• Knowledge of cleaning chemicals and equipment.
• Ability to work independently and follow instructions.
• Strong attention to detail.
• Physical stamina to perform cleaning tasks.
• Good communication skills.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• The Northeastern Soldiers Memorial Hospital in Scottsdale is an 18 bed District Hospital with a 3-bed emergency department.  There is also a palliative care suite.
• This position is based in the hospital and works as part of the cleaning team for the facility. 
• The hours advertised are worked over a two-week period.
