We are currently seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Computer Operator to join our team. In this role, you will play a vital part in supporting our IT infrastructure by monitoring, maintaining, and ensuring the efficient operation of our computer systems.
Candidate’s Abilities
The ideal candidate will have a solid understanding of computer systems and operations, excellent problem solving skills and ability to work well both independently and as part of a team. You will also collaborate with our IT department to ensure optimal system performance and help resolve any technical issues that may arise.
Key Responsibilities
- Monitor and control daily computer operations and system performance
- Perform regular system checks, backups, and maintenance tasks
- Maintain logs of activities and system reports
- Coordinate with IT staff to identify and resolve hardware or software issues
- Maintain an inventory of system equipment and report malfunctions
- Ensure data integrity and security protocols are followed
- Troubleshoot system alerts or errors and escalate when needed
Requirements:
- Previous experience as a Computer Operator or similar role (minimum 1 year preferred)
- Familiarity with operating systems, hardware, and software troubleshooting
- Strong organizational and communication skills
- Attention to detail and ability to multitask
- Must provide valid ID and necessary credentials
