The Role
The Eden Park Trust is looking for an experienced, registered Electrician with a current practising licence to join our Facilities team. This full-time role involves overseeing electrical requirements and contributing to general maintenance to keep Eden Park in peak condition. You’ll play a key role in ensuring seamless operations and upholding the highest standards of quality. What you’ll do
- Take ownership of electrical maintenance and requirements at Eden Park
- Perform electrical work at Eden Park and associated rental properties
- Respond promptly to breakdowns and electrical issues
- Proactively identify and address maintenance needs
- Deliver high-quality service and workmanship
- Ensure strict adherence to health and safety standards, policies and procedures
- Provide electrical support for events and functions
- Assist with event day operations as required to ensure seamless execution of functions and activities at the stadium
- Support other maintenance activities as required
- Contribute positively to a collaborative culture, supporting teamwork and mutual respect
What we are looking for
- Minimum 2 years’ experience as an Electrician
- Current NZ Electrical Registration and Practising Licence
- Excellent knowledge and understanding of required health and safety standards
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Excellent work ethic and reliability
- Enthusiastic can-do attitude with the ability to think on your feet and problem-solve quickly
- Experience working in a commercial environment
- Flexibility – while this is primarily a Monday-Friday role, you will be required to work some weekends and participate in an on-call roster for after-hours support
