Job Description
We are looking for a passionate and hardworking Farm Worker to support our mission of sustainable agriculture and farm-to-table dining. In this role, you’ll work closely with both our farm and cafe teams to grow, harvest, and deliver produce that helps craft exceptional meals.
Key Responsibilities:
- Plant, cultivate, and harvest a variety of organic crops
- Perform regular maintenance tasks including watering, weeding, pruning, and soil care
- Operate and care for basic farm equipment safely and responsibly
- Assist with organic pest control and soil health programs
- Prepare produce for delivery and assist with transportation to the Sunflower Cafe
- Communicate with the cafe team about seasonal produce needs and upcoming harvests
- Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work environment
Qualifications:
- Experience in farming, gardening, or agriculture is preferred but not required
- Enthusiasm for organic farming and sustainable food systems
- Ability to work outdoors in all weather conditions
- Comfortable performing physically demanding tasks, including lifting and bending
- Reliable, punctual, and able to work independently and with a team
- Strong communication skills and a positive attitude
