About The Role

You will be in the position of giving patients comprehensive, secure, and holistic care after surgery as a registered nurse in the unit for post-surgical care. In accordance with Calvary and applicable Government Health policies and procedures, the Registered Nurse is in charge of giving patients with safe, appropriate, and effective medical care within each unit, providing direct care to specific patient population.

Your main duties will include

• Performing patient evaluations with a patient-centered and holistic approach.

• Early recognition and action in the appearance of patient deteriorating.

• Encourage a culture of patient safety, quality, and ongoing improvement.

About You

  • AHPRA Registration.
  • A minimum of two (2) years post graduate nursing experience and recent Acute or Critical Care Nursing experience.
  • Ability to work unsupervised, proficiently, and in an organised manner during times of high demand and activity. 
  • Demonstrated ability to work effectively as a member of a multidisciplinary team. 
  • Demonstrated communication, interpersonal, and customer service skills.
  • A desire to work in a mission-based organisation and be a part of a group committed to helping people.
