Key Responsibilities
🔹 MIG & TIG Welding – Weld and fit stainless steel enclosures of various sizes.
🔹 Blueprint Reading – Weld according to technical drawings & specifications.
🔹 Robotic Welding – Operate robotic welder for bushing welds.
🔹 Leak-Free Welding – Weld pressure-tested vessels ensuring zero leaks.
🔹 Measurement Accuracy – Work with both metric & standard measurements.
🔹 Equipment Maintenance – Properly set up & maintain welding equipment.
🔹 Safety Compliance – Follow all health & safety regulations in the workplace.
🔹 Shop Cleanliness – Maintain an organized & safe work environment.
What We’re Looking For
✔️ MIG & TIG CWB Welding Certificate (Required).
✔️ 2+ years of welding experience in a manufacturing environment.
✔️ Experience welding steel, stainless steel, and aluminum.
✔️ Ability to read & interpret blueprints and shop drawings.
✔️ Overhead crane & counterbalance forklift experience (Valid forklift license is an asset).
✔️ Strong attention to detail & ability to work independently or in a team.
✔️ Physical ability – Must lift up to 50 lbs, stand, bend, squat, and operate tools.
Work Conditions & Physical Demands
🔹 Frequent walking, standing, bending, squatting, and lifting.
🔹 Handling power & hand tools regularly.
🔹 Use of assistive lifting devices (hoists, hand trucks, pallet jacks).
🔹 Ability to grip, manipulate, and maneuver materials safely.
