Evening Pickers/Packers Job in New Zealand

Foodstuffs North Island at Gilmours North Shore is a locally owned food and beverage wholesaler supplying to hospitality and related industries throughout the North Shore region in New Zealand. They are currently looking for full time, permanent evening pickers/packers to join their enthusiastic and efficient night picking team. Selected candidates will be responsible for accurately picking and packing orders in a timely manner to ensure the efficient operation of their warehouse. Responsibilities of Evening Pickers/Packers:

  • Picking goods accurately whilst ensuring picking productivity targets are achieve.
  • Wrapping and labelling goods for dispatching accordance with company procedure.
  • Operating handheld devices.
  • Ensuring the warehouse is kept clean and tidy – “tidy as you go” policy.
  • Observing all operational safety procedures, including safety inspections.

Eligibility Criteria for Job:

  • Good physical fitness as there will be some heavy lifting involved.
  • Excellent communication skills.
  • Experience working collaboratively with others in a group or team.
  • High personal presentation standards.
  • Excellent attention to detail, accurate in all areas of work.
  • Reliable and have a high degree of self-motivation.
  • Leadership skills required, as development upskilling is part of our ongoing training program.
