Frozen Foods Assistant Job in New Zealand

Foodstuffs North Island Supermarket is looking for a dedicated and experienced Frozen Foods Assistant to join their team in Auckland. As a Frozen Foods Assistant, selected candidate will be responsible for ensuring the frozen foods section is well-maintained, fully stocked, and provides exceptional customer service to their shoppers. Key Responsibilities:

• Stocking and replenishing frozen food products on shelves
• Monitoring and maintaining proper temperature controls in freezers
• Ensuring all frozen food items are correctly labeled and priced
• Assisting customers with inquiries and providing product recommendations
• Keeping the frozen foods section clean, organized, and presentable
• Rotating stock to ensure older products are sold first
• Assisting with inventory management and stocktaking

Requirements:

• Previous experience in a similar role preferred
• Excellent communication and customer service skills
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
• Physically fit and able to lift heavy objects
• Knowledge of food safety and hygiene regulations
• Flexibility to work weekends and public holidays
