Description

Poultry Farm Employees are needed, based on the position committed and responsible people are right now needed to become a part of our team as a Poultry Farm Worker. You will be an essential component of our poultry farm’s daily operations and upkeep as a worker there.

Responsibilities in Number 1 Eggs Limited:

• Help with the feeding, watering, and general upkeep of poultry, such as chickens, turkeys, or ducks. Keep an eye on the birds’ health and wellbeing, spotting and alerting the manager to any symptoms of illness or distress.
• Keep poultry house clean and sanitary so that the birds can live there.
• Collect eggs and ensure proper storage and handling procedures
• Assist in the hatching and rearing of chicks or ducklings.
• Perform regular inspections of equipment, including feeders, waterers, and ventilation systems, and notify the supervisor of any problems or issues.
• Assist in the maintenance of farm facilities, including repairing fences, gates, and buildings as needed.
• To avoid the spread of diseases, adhere with all safety procedures and biosecurity regulations.
• Operate and keep farm machinery and equipment, like tractors and power tools, in good working condition.
• Collaborate with other farm workers to complete tasks efficiently and effectively.

Job requirement:

• However it is not necessary, previous experience working on a chicken farm is preferred. It will be training provided.
• Physical strength and the capacity to perform out physically taxing tasks in various kinds of environments.
• Ability to work well both independently and as part of a team.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to follow instructions accurately.
• Good communication and interpersonal abilities are required for successful teamwork.
• Willingness to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays, as needed.
