Responsibilities
Performs daily tasks on a market garden or vegetable farm such as planting, and fertilising soil, and cultivating and irrigating crops.
Daily Tasks
- Using hand tools and farm machines for vegetable crops.
- Trellises were build for climbing vegetables and vines.
- Farm machines operate to cultivate, fertilise, harvest and spray.
- Chemical sprays used to control weed growth, insects, fungus growth and diseases
- Thins, weeders and hoes.
- Crop growth in irrigates land.
- Picks vegetables according to size and ripeness.
- In container grades, sorts, bunches and packs produce.
- In trucks loads filled vegetable containers.
